Carly Jarvinen – MA, LMFT
Carly is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in the Counseling Psychology program with a Family Psychology Concentration. She gained an interest of the impact of family systems on individual functioning while working in the chemical dependency field. Carly believes in the importance of a therapeutic relationship as it works to foster a genuine, supportive, and non judgmental relationship with clients. She utilizes emotionally focused, experiential, systemic, and structural approaches in her work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
Carly has experience working in the outpatient clinic setting. She has special interest in working with couples contemplating divorce, separation, or struggling with co-parenting issues. She also is experienced in working with parents to help support and create change within the family system when working with children.
