Haley Backdahl – B.A.
Master's Practicum Therapist
Haley provides individual therapy for both children, adolescents and adults. She has a special interest in working with adolescents working through anxiety, depression, trauma and stress. She takes a client-centered approach often integrating cognitive-behavior methods and acting in the here-and-now. She believes in tailoring sessions based on the needs of the individual and helping them achieve their goals.
She has worked closely with children and adolescents for the last five years, volunteering at domestic violence shelters for women and children as well as working closely with the organization KEEN for children and adolescents with developmental or physical disabilities.
Haley is a graduate student pursuing her degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. She expects to graduate in 2024 with her Psy. D. Haley earned her bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and English Literature at Loyola Marymount University located in Los Angeles, CA.
