Karen Hailey – MA
Karen has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from Bethel University. She received an undergraduate degree in Family and Child Development and a minor in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
Karen has had the privilege of assisting children, adolescents, and families from various religious, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds throughout the United States. She has professional experience providing supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health diagnoses within academic, day treatment, residential, and community settings
Karen’s approach to therapy is person-centered, empathic, and authentic. She incorporates an integrative, collaborative, and relational philosophy into her therapeutic work. She believes that optimizing clients’ strengths and capabilities provide a foundation for empowerment and growth.
