Psychiatric Medication Management

From attention and motivation to behavior and mood regulation, understanding the issue deeper sometimes requires measurement and comparison to statistical norms.

Medication services address the physiological component of many mental illnesses.  Research has shown psychotropic medications to be an effective element of treatment for a variety of concerns including many mood and anxiety disorders.  Medication plays an important role in the overall treatment of many patients at our practice, oftentimes in conjunction with talk psychotherapy.

For many clients, psychotropic medication can reduce physiological barriers that would otherwise interfere with psychotherapeutic interventions.

We offer medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with a range of presenting concerns including but not limited to:

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Some substance use disorders
Behavioral Issues in Children
Compulsive Gambling
