Alyssa Ricke – MA

Alyssa Ricke (she/her) holds a Master’s of Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, Harrisburg. Prior to receiving her M.A., Alyssa received her Bachelor’s of Psychology and minor in Sociology from the University of Iowa.
Alyssa has experience working with children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, adjustment challenges, and trauma-related disorders. She also has experience working closely with adults living with mood disorders, OCD, and other life stressors.
Through her work, Alyssa is drawn to skills-based and strengths-based collaboration. Her approach pulls from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities while retaining a strong person-centered approach. Cultural humility is a central characteristic of her work. When working with clients, Alyssa strives to provide a genuine and non-judgmental environment while actively collaborating with each individual to reach their needs and goals.
