Austin Muchow – MA, LMFT
Mental Health Professional
Austin is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with the belief that excellent mental health services should be readily available for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, neurotype, income, or living situation. He utilizes a person-centered, systems-informed approach meant to adapt to each client’s needs. He holds the understanding that there are no “one-size fits all” models in therapy, and change occurs within context. He draws counseling influences from Adlerian, Humanistic, and Cognitive-Behavioral models, while viewing problems from a systemic and relational lens.
Austin has worked with clients of widely diverse abilities, ages, and cultural backgrounds. He has extensive experience in early childhood mental health and CTSS services, and has clinical experience working in various spaces including day treatment, ARMHS, mental health case management, school-based services, and telehealth. Austin works with individuals, groups, families, and is comfortable working alongside interpreters to support all clients.
