Bridget Schmitt – MA

Doctoral Student

Bridget is a third year doctoral student at the University of St. Thomas (MN) Graduate School of Professional Psychology, where she also earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. She has experience providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults, especially in working through experiences such as depression, anxiety, and relationship/interpersonal issues. Bridget cares deeply about viewing the whole person. She considers the therapeutic journey as similar to a fingerprint: no two look exactly the same. Everyone’s life story and needs are
different and are experienced in different ways– she looks forward to helping you find the best fit for you to help meet your individual needs. She is passionate about making you feel heard, respected, and cared for in a way that works best for you.
