Dr. Sarah Cherwien Hoel – PsyD, LP
Dr. Cherwien Hoel (she/her) started her career at St. David’s Center for Child and Family Development and Minnesota Psychological Resources. She completed her master’s practicum at Genesis II for Families where she later worked as a parent assessor. She then completed doctoral practica at the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University and at the Clinic for Attention Learning and Memory. Her doctoral internship was with the Minnesota Internship Consortium where she split time between the University of St. Thomas Interprofessional Center (IPC) and Park Avenue Center. In her most recent role, Dr. Cherwien Hoel has served as staff psychologist and liaison to the Veteran’s Resource Center at St. Thomas.
Dr. Cherwien Hoel earned a PsyD and MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. Her undergraduate work was at St. Olaf College. She has taught psychopathology and practicum at the graduate level and has supervised graduate- and postgraduate-level clinicians.
