Dr. Taylor Darnauer – DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC, PHN
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Darnauer is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and on-going psychiatric care for patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Minnesota, as well as a graduate minor in Integrative Health and Healing Practices. Dr. Darnauer offers a holistic approach that addresses each patient’s unique needs and works alongside patients to develop shared treatment goals.
Prior to completing her doctorate, she received both a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Darnauer worked as an RN and a Mental Health Practitioner in a residential eating disorder treatment center for both adults and adolescents. She is passionate about mental health advocacy and devoted to providing a trusting space for patients to feel heard and connected. Clinical areas of special interest include eating disorders, perinatal/postpartum mental health, ADHD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, chemical dependence and autism.
