Grady Hauswirth – MSW, LGSW
Grady began to take an interest in mental health and personal well-being after battling anxiety during high school. During this time, Grady learned the importance of mental health and being a happy, healthy, and whole human being in order to achieve his dreams and aspirations.
Grady holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin, Superior. After graduating in the spring of 2020, Grady pursued further education at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, graduating with a Masters of Social Work in the Summer of 2021.
He has experience working with school age youth ages 5-12 and adolescents ages 13-23. As an Intern at the Sanneh Foundation in St. Paul, MN, Grady facilitated programs and was working first hand with the youth helping develop social-emotional, learning, and behavior skills. He worked with diverse youth from all backgrounds and cultures.
Grady believes in developing relationships that have trust, open communication, and empathy – the keys to working with any youth. Once a relationship is formed and trust begins, he believes in using Cognitive-Behavioral-Therapy and an environmental systems based approach to further develop social emotional skills.
Grady approaches therapy with the main goal of developing happy, healthy, and whole human beings. He believes that when an individual achieves these concepts they can achieve anything they set their mind to.
