JB Boyajian – BA
Practicum Student
JB (she/her) received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Vermont and is currently completing her master’s degree in counselor education at the University of Minnesota. JB has experience working with middle school students as an afterschool supervisor, providing support to students with a variety of identities and needs. She has also worked in preschool classrooms, assisting children with neurodevelopmental and learning disorders.
JB enjoys working with clients in all stages of life, creating a safe, judgment-free, and welcoming environment for clients to explore their emotions, current stressors, relationship dynamics, and lived experiences.
JB takes a person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally-sensitive approach to therapy where clients feel supported, respected, and understood. She also promotes an egalitarian relationship with clients, which is a collaborative, power-sharing partnership designed to eliminate traditional hierarchy and foster client autonomy.
JB is supervised by a Licensed Mental Health Professional
