Jersie Schreder – MS

Post Master's Fellow

Jersie (she/her) earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Student Personnel from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has experience supporting adolescents and adults in outpatient settings with a variety of mental health and relational concerns. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief, attachment, life transitions and adjustments, identity development, and the impacts of trauma.

Jersie practices from a person-centered foundation, emphasizing compassion, curiosity, and emotional safety. She integrates approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and systems perspectives. Her work is grounded in the belief that people do not exist in isolation; she attends closely to the ways environments, social contexts, and relationship dynamics shape clients’ experiences.

Jersie shows up with warmth and honesty, and she’s comfortable being direct when it helps clients get to what truly matters—always with care and respect. She values humanness and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship, welcoming the imperfections and complexities that shape each person’s unique story. Her goal is to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported as they move toward growth and healing.
