JoAnna Van Otterloo – MA, LPCC
Clinical Supervisor
JoAnna Van Otterloo (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She received her Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Xavier University. JoAnna has over 15 years of experience in working with adults, children, and families in both outpatient and community-based settings. She is an approved clinical supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as well as a certified training supervisor for the Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC) intervention.
Throughout her career, JoAnna has experience in working with clients struggling with relationships, life transitions, grief/loss, infertility, pregnancy, depression, anxiety, stress/overwhelm, trauma, and child behavioral challenges. She has a particular passion for work involving the parent-child relationship and/or parenting challenges.
When working with JoAnna, she strives to build supportive relationships with clients in order to help them in navigating challenges. To help empower clients to work through life’s transitions and challenges, JoAnna utilizes an integrative, strength-based approach and pulls from a variety of techniques and interventions. Her approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client or family.
