Jonah Rasmussen – MSW, LGSW
Post-Master's Fellow
Jonah is a social worker who is positive, empathetic, and compassionate and is
committed to working alongside patients, meeting them where they are, and helping
them create meaningful change in their lives. Jonah treats children 3-7 years old at the
Rosemount location with the day program.
Jonah has a wealth of experience working with children and young adults throughout his
early career and education. Jonah has worked most recently at a psychiatric hospital,
with children and adults, and also interned as a school social worker.
Jonah brings a systems approach to his work with patients which view the whole
person, including their families and other systems they interact with. Jonah mainly has
experience using a behavioral approach to therapy, while also being familiar with other
approaches. As a social worker, Jonah knows that patients are the experts of their own
lives, allowing them the freedom to direct their lives, while offering professional
guidance and support.
