Jordyn Minni – BA
Jordyn is a practicum student completing her Master of Social Work degree at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. She is currently receiving additional training as an Integrated Behavioral Health Care scholar. Jordyn previously completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her prior work in social services includes experience as a paraprofessional in an autism day treatment program and as an advocate for families experiencing interpersonal violence. Jordyn is interested in working with children and adults experiencing trauma, family and relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression. She is passionate about the use of play therapy as a treatment for children who have experienced trauma. Her therapeutic approach focuses on identifying an individual’s or family’s needs and goals for treatment, while also considering systemic influences on the individual or family. In order to ensure her clients’ achieve emotional and physical well-being, Jordyn strives to empower clients both within the therapeutic relationship and within their broader systems.
