Katrina Bode – MSW, LGSW

Katrina (she/her) holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from the University of Alabama. Her master’s level concentration was social work with children, adolescents, and their families. Although Katrina specializes in adolescents and young adults, she welcomes all age ranges and demographics.
Katrina aims to assist children, adults, couples, and families in their therapeutic journey by cultivating a safe environment and relationships built on trust. She performs person-centered therapy to equip her clients with the tools to tackle life’s challenges efficiently and confidently. Katrina is passionate about helping clients with self-esteem, daily stress management, and coping with the changes that arise during the different stages of the life cycle. She also provides care for those impacted by ADHD, anxiety, relationship concerns, and trauma.
Katrina utilizes a blend of evidence-based treatments to provide optimal care to each individual. She often uses the therapy modalities of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, strengths perspective, and motivational interviewing. Katrina enthusiastically approaches each session to help empower individuals to meet their goals and provide a lasting and positive impact on her client’s lives.
