Kayli (she/her/hers) graduated with a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services from Iowa State University. As a practicing social worker, Kayli’s passion and experience lie within children and families from diverse backgrounds with pervasive mental health or trauma-related diagnoses.

Kayli enjoys working with young children, ages 0-10, caregivers, and families with a variety of challenges/diagnoses, such as adjustment disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and various cognitive/developmental disorders. Kayli also has experience working with groups using a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Kayli strongly endorses meeting clients where they are at using a collaborative, client-centered, and relational approach to working with individuals to heal through connection and trust. She believes that clients are experts in their own experience and hold inherent strengths that can be used and built upon to achieve therapeutic goals.

Kayli is continuously mindful of brain development and how mental illness impacts the mind and body as a whole. Utilizing child-centered play therapy, attachment and cognitive-behavioral approaches, mindfulness, psychodynamic and strengths-based techniques, she works together with clients and families to empower and encourage insightful growth.
