Kenzie Bingel – BS
Practicum Student
Kenzie (she/her) is a clinical trainee currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Kenzie earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
In her previous work as a Case Management intern, Kenzie worked with people navigating complex systems (healthcare, housing, public assistance) and recognizes the impact that each client’s identity (including race, gender, sexual orientation, ability status, immigration status, etc) can have on how they experience the world.
Kenzie enjoys working with children, teens, and adults navigating mental health challenges, relational difficulties, and life transitions. In her work, Kenzie draws from Strengths-Based and Person-Centered perspectives, recognizing that each client is the expert in their own life experiences. She also enjoys using humor with clients. Kenzie’s goal is to work alongside clients to build therapeutic relationships that support each client’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
