Kiersten Hemsing – BS
Kiersten Hemsing (she/her) is currently in the Educational Psychology Master’s program at the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities, with a focus on clinical mental health counseling. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science from North Dakota State University.
Kiersten has inpatient psychiatric experience working alongside children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health concerns such as traumatic experiences, anxiety, and depression. Primarily, she worked with children and adolescents with traumatic experiences, behavioral concerns, anxiety, and depression.
Kiersten enjoys working through a family systems and cognitive behavioral therapy approach. Also, she is interested in learning more on incorporating play therapy into her practice.
