Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Leah (she/her) is a board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who received her Master in Science from the University of North Dakota. She provides diagnostic assessments and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. Her experiences are with both acute and chronic mental illness, as well as inpatient and outpatient settings.
In her work, Leah’s areas of interest include depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, women’s mental health issues, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. Her experience in community mental health allows her to be especially sensitive to diverse populations and persons who have not previously had experience with mental health treatment.
Leah is passionate about working together with her clients to find solutions that best work with their lives. Evidence Based Practice is the foundation, and it is best applied combined with knowledge of the whole person.
