Lindsay Eggen – MS

Lindsay (she/her) received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and her Certificate in Medical Family Therapy from East Carolina University. Before attending ECU, she attended Georgia Southern University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Lindsay has experience working with individuals, families, couples, and children experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relational challenges. Lindsay also works with clients experiencing chronic pain and other medical issues that may be impacting their mental health or relationships. Lindsay has experience working with couples who want to heal after an affair or breach of trust. She has a particular interest in working with clients whose mental health is being impacted by past trauma.
Lindsay’s approach to therapy involves providing an accepting and non-judgemental space, where all clients can feel heard and valued. She uses an intergenerational, family systems perspective, which can help clients further understand patterns, heal, and grow in their relationships. Lindsay emphasizes the need for collaboration within her therapeutic relationships, and meets clients where they are at, while encouraging growth.
