Mackenzie Wallace – BS
Practicum Student
Mackenzie is a clinical trainee currently seeking her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She completed her undergraduate studies in Family Social Science and Developmental Psychology at the University of Minnesota.
Mackenzie works with couples, families, and individual clients of all ages and life stages. She has a particular interest in working with queer clients, couples, and families, as well as non-traditional relational systems. She also enjoys working with clients with ADHD and autism and integrating tools to adapt to a neurodivergent perspective.
Mackenzie takes a person-centered approach, with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and humility. She holds a relational and systemic perspective to allow clients to share their unique experience in a space that supports growth and exploration. Mackenzie is passionate about creating a space for every client to feel supported, respected, and understood, throughout the therapy process.
