Madalyn Cioci – LGSW, MSW, MA
Madalyn Cioci (pronounced Chō-chee), LGSW, brings rich and varied past experience to her work as a clinical social worker, having made a career change from environmental protection and community outreach. While pursuing her Masters in Social Work degree, Madalyn provided case management at an adult day services program serving older adults and their families and also provided outpatient therapy to families and adults of all ages. At Lorenz Clinic, Madalyn provides CTSS home-based services for kids and families as well as outpatient therapy for individuals of all ages.
Madalyn takes a client-centered, strengths-based approach because each client’s experience and culture are unique, and people already hold the seeds for their healing. Her clinical interests are family systems/attachment, life stage transitions, trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, and CBT (how thoughts and behaviors affect emotions).
Madalyn is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and volunteers as a caregiver support group facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association – MN/South Dakota.
