Maggie Falwell – MA
Maggie (she/her) is a third year practicum student in the Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology (PsyD) at Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota, where she obtained her MA in Counseling and Psychological Services. She also has a MA in Global Youth Development from the University of Montana. Maggie is in the process of becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
During her career, Maggie has provided mental health services in outpatient treatment and private practice settings for a variety of concerns such as personality disorders, post-traumatic stress, self-harm, and sexual disorders. Additionally, she has worked with justice-involved individuals providing group and individual therapy, along with psychoeducational programming.
While working with clients, Maggie’s approach is culturally responsive and trauma-informed. Compassion, collaboration, and a sense of humor are important in her practice. She strives to provide a non-judgmental space for clients to feel safe expressing themselves.
