MaryBeth Ehlert – MSW, LGSW
MaryBeth Ehlert is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) who earned her Masters in Social Work (MSW) in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and College of St. Catherine in 2018.
MaryBeth incorporates a blend of approaches to meet the unique needs of each person, drawing from theoretical frameworks such as psychodynamic, attachment, and systems theories while utilizing skills and techniques from mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. MaryBeth’s approach with clients is collaborative and non-judgmental, providing a safe therapeutic space to explore old patterns and create new ones.
MaryBeth has experience working in inpatient care for eating disorders, as well as previous outpatient experience working with a wide variety of clients on issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family conflict. With additional previous experience in Human Resources, MaryBeth also enjoys helping clients learn to self-advocate and successfully navigate interpersonal or structural stress in their careers.
