Morgan Bobo – MA
Mental Health Practitioner
Morgan is a Mental Health Clinician who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She uses a relational approach in therapy to cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental relationship. Morgan views therapy as a mechanism to empower clients to play an active role in their healing process by utilizing their strengths and resources to thrive, even when faced with systemic barriers. Morgan believes in meeting clients where they are and providing various skills and tools to help clients strive toward their individual goals. She tends to be flexible in treatment approach depending on the needs of the client, including a combination of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy approaches.
Morgan has a myriad of clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, attention difficulties, and behavioral challenges. She also has a strong interest and experience in treating concerns associated with parenting and multicultural issues. Additionally, Morgan is experienced in psychological assessment and conducts evaluations at the Lorenz Clinic. She earned her M.A. at Southern Illinois University—Carbondale in Child Clinical Psychology and is near completion of her Ph.D. in child focused clinical psychology.
