Dr. Nicole Larson – DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Nicole Larson is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 20+ years of experience practicing within outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient mental health settings across the lifespan. Dr. Larson specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. She earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Masters (MA) degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica.
Dr. Larson provides diagnostic assessment and psychiatric medication management for individuals in kindergarten through college. She has clinical interest in a variety of mental health concerns including ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and PTSD.
Dr. Larson is committed to partnering with families and developing individual treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine. She is also passionate about mental health advocacy and previously volunteered as the Representative of Nursing on the Governor’s Minnesota State Advisory Council on Mental Health. She also enjoys teaching and supervising graduate students.
