Soapy Nguon-Santana – BSW

Mental Health Practitioner

Soapy is pursuing her Masters in Social Work in Clinical Mental Health at the University of Minnesota.

She has experience in residential treatment facilities where clients have needed 24/7 care. Previous experiences have enabled Soapy to serve clients who have lived with a range of illnesses and symptoms ranging from traumatic brain injuries, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, postpartum depression/psychosis, substance use/abuse, and psychosis.

When working with clients, Soapy utilizes a supportive, person-centered approach and feels that clients know what works best for them when working towards a goal. If requested and appropriate, she encourages family engagement in the therapeutic process.
