- Job Title: Clinical Supervisor (Mental Health)

- Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000 Annually DOQ

The Clinic
Lorenz Clinic is a group private practice focused on the mental health needs of children, families, and adults. While the majority of our services are provided under the umbrella of managed care, we have community partnerships that allow us to service those without insurance. Located on the edge of the Minneapolis Metropolitan area, our five locations (Victoria, Chaska, Wayzata, Prior Lake, and Rosemount) are located approximately 30-35 miles south/southwest of downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul and provide needed access to psychological services for both suburban and rural communities. In addition to its overall clinical mission, the clinic hosts a vibrant training program. The clinic is actively developing a vertically-integrated model of care that includes home-based, outpatient, day treatment, and medication management. Psychologists with special competency with children or families as well as bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
Job Duties
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The provision of clinical and administrative supervision
- Carrying supervisory and patient caseloads as assigned
- The provision of mental health services including conducting diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, psychological testing, and discharge planning for patients of the clinic
- Assisting the Training Director in coordinating, organizing, and supervising trainees
- Reviewing supervisees’ documentation and taking responsibility for any corresponding billing
- Ensuring such documentation is consistent with managed care contracts and the professional standard
- Attending and participating in monthly case consultation, Grand Rounds, business meetings, and other meetings as required
- Compliance with clinic documentation standards
- Compliance with licensing board rules and APA Code of Ethics
Note: this position may be eligible for student loan repayment. This is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible, W2 position
Requirements
The most successful candidates will evidence a track record of service as an interventionist with a high degree of professional activity within the field. The position requirements include but are not limited to:
- A master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health profession from an accredited academic program
- Full, unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Professional in Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT)
- At least 2 years providing clinical supervision post-licensure
- Designation as an approved supervisor with one’s own licensing board
- Formal training in child or family therapy (preferred)
- BBHT-approved supervisor status (strongly preferred)
