Colleen Fitzgerald Lorenz – MBA
Chief Operating Officer
Colleen Lorenz is the Chief Operating Officer of Lorenz Clinic of Family Psychology. She has built the operational architecture that allows a multi-site, training-centered behavioral health institution to hold the complexity of clinical formation alongside the demands of running a business.
Her work spans the full operational spine of the clinic— finance, revenue cycle, human resources, information technology, administrative services, and marketing. In a field where clinical mission and operational discipline are often treated as competing interests, Colleen’s contribution is the steady insistence that they are not. Clinicians can only hold clients when the system around them is itself held. That holding is operational before it is anything else.
She is widely regarded inside the organization for her judgment about people — particularly her ability to recognize potential before it is obvious, and to build cohesive and dedicated teams. She serves as the EOS Integrator for the executive team and works in a leadership dyad with the CEO, a structure that the clinic has come to understand as foundational rather than incidental to how it operates.
Colleen holds an MBA in Healthcare from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience and Criminal Justice, also from St. Thomas. Before joining Lorenz Clinic in 2013, she spent more than six years as a multi-unit district manager at Premier Salons, a role that involved recruiting, training, and operations across sixteen locations in three states and Canada — early formation in the discipline of running service businesses at scale.
