Alyssa Kittleson – MSW, LGSW, LADC

Alyssa graduated from Augsburg University in 2021 with her Master of Social Work degree in clinical social work and alcohol and drug counseling. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Liberty University.
Past experiences for Alyssa include working with children, families and adults, having worked in both mental health and substance use treatment programs. She is passionate about helping clients address concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, life change, and substance use.
In working with clients, she uses a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to therapy, incorporating cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and motivational interviewing interventions. Alyssa values empowering clients to be actively a part of the therapeutic process and partner with them to help make the changes they want to make. It is her goal to create a nurturing and safe environment for clients through empathy, clear communication and consistency.
