Christina Preston – MA, LADC
Christina (she/her) attended Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota to obtain her Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services, along with her License in Alcohol and Drug Counseling (LADC). Prior to earning her master’s, Christina attended Minnesota State University, Mankato and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Corrections and Psychology.
Previous experiences for Christina include working with individuals diagnosed with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The populations that Christina sees are those ages 4 to adult.
In therapy, Christina enjoys working with individuals with an experiential and strengths based approach to therapy. She views clients and what they bring to therapy through a systemic and trauma informed lens. When working with Christina, they can expect her to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy in session.
