Sydney Lindstrom – BSW
Practicum Student
Sydney (she/her) is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in Duluth, Minnesota where she also obtained her Bachelor of Social Work.
Sydney is passionate about helping clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and other life stressors that impact their daily functioning. She has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents along with their families. Sydney has experience working with children as a nanny and as a daycare provider. She also has experience with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down Syndrome working as a PCA for many years in her hometown.
Sydney is an advocate for holistic approaches because of how they integrate the interconnectedness of a person’s well-being — physical, emotional, social, and spiritual. Sydney believes that everyone is doing their best and aims to meet clients where they are at.
