AthenaHealth: Partnership for Clarity

You spoke, we listened!  We are thrilled to be rolling out a new Electronic Health Record and billing system at Lorenz Clinic.  We’ve retained the services of AthenaHealth, the national leader in mid-sized specialty healthcare practice management.  Starting in November 2017, clients can expect many exciting changes including:

  • Patient Portal.  Log in and see your visits, get billing information, make a payment, or just stay connected.
  • Online Payment Capabilities.  While payments will still be accepted in-person, over the phone, or by mail, we will now offer online payment processing for your convenience.
  • Clear Invoices.  Clients can expect a more predictable invoicing schedule and a special code listed for online payment, even if you choose not to create a patient portal account.
  • Text and Email Reminders.  Appointment reminders that suit your needs.  Update your preferences with our friendly staff to ensure you are getting only what you want.
  • Online Forms.  Complete forms that go directly to your clinician.  Electronic forms mean convenience and a more environmentally friendly approach. 
  • Interoperability.  This system will make it easier and faster for our therapists coordinate care with your other healthcare providers when you ask us to.

Throughout the transition, you will notice we will now formally check in and check out all clients, giving you a better opportunity to make or change appointments face-to-face instead of over the phone.  We are committed to making your care a positive, engaging experience where you can feel heard, not frustrated.  Please pardon our electronic dust as we make our way through the new system, and we hope you will enjoy the all the benefits it has to offer!
