Michelle Carey – MA

Post-Master's Fellow

Michelle (she/her) attended Adler Graduate School where she received her Master’s of Arts in Counseling. Prior to receiving her master’s, Michelle attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in child psychology.

Michelle enjoys treating patients from various walks of life and has experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, grief, life transitions struggles, anxiety, trauma, and depression. As a clinician, her overall goal is to empower her clients to feel in control of their healing journey.

Using a person-centered approach with clients allows Michelle to meet them where they are. Michelle utilizes skills from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed therapies. When working with clients, Michelle aims to provide a safe and comfortable space to allow clients to work through their struggles.
