Sarah Thomas – MSW, LICSW

Sarah graduated from Winona State University with her bachelor’s in social work and then continued her education at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with an emphasis in healthcare social work. Sarah has over nine years experience working in the healthcare system helping those in mental health crisis, coping with new medical and mental diagnosis, and understanding grief and death.
Sarah has experience working with individuals of all ages, along with couples and families. Sarah works to see the whole system of an individual and to work with an individual to foster a strong relationship throughout the therapeutic process. She likes to take creative and strength based focuses when working with clients to help them grow using multiple theories and meeting the client where they are in their steps to seek therapy.
